Charang comes from a beautiful village located in the heart of Temengor forest, called Kampung Semelor. He is MEME’s field assistant who is of Temiar origin. Since joining in 2012, he has been involved in many of MEME’s field research, including setting up camera traps, collecting dung samples and tracking elephants. He is more outspoken and able to express his ideas and bring up issues from his community to the forefront.
