Fitri had spent his last 6 years on research and conservation of primate, specifically on proboscis monkeys in Sarawak. Apart from that, he is also involved as a consultant for Sarawak Proboscis Monkey Action Plan 2020-2025. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Animal Resource Science & Management and Master of Science in Zoology from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Fitri is now taking on a new challenge by joining MEME as a Research Associate cum Community Coordinator. In MEME, Fitri will be responsible for community-related issues relating to Human-Elephant Conflict (HEC).
